Facing Thanos in the "Infinity War", how did half the Asgard inhabitants survive?

Hau "Avengers: Infinity War" we know is still half of the people of Asgard are still alive, but the director of the film does not give answers exactly as how they can escape there.
As far as dialogue between Thor and "rabbit" Rocket in Avengers: Infinity War (Avengers: Infinity War), the half-god of Thunder Asgard citizens were "ripped" at the hands of Thanos. That means there are still Asgard people out there, but throughout the movie we do not know what is happening to them.

From post-credit (after-credits) Thor: Ragnarok scene ship people Asgard encounter Thanos until the opening scene of the Infinity War where Thanos walk among the dead, for the audience to feel like just through a blink of an eye. Thor is defeated, some of the characters in Ragnarok "mysteriously" disappear. Bifrost Bridge does not seem to be a good idea. Remember, Heimdall can summon bridge Bifrost to the stressful situation and most people usually will not survive by moving vehicle such rainbow (remember Hulk landed on earth like a meteorite not? ).

The cocoons and lifeboats

The Russo brothers offered a simple solution: "Before that scene, rescue ships were deployed to Asgard people including Valkyrie." Though the director does not reveal the fate of the Korg guy, he tells us at least that the Asgard people were evacuated before Thanos and Black Order made their escape. However, it should be noted that the ship is a waste from Sakaar, so the big possibility is that the rescue pods are not working well.

By the time the group Guardians of the Galaxy drew close, you can see there is no appearance of rescue boats and cocoon rescue yet, only debris, dead bodies floating and a Thor half dead after coming under attack from Power Stone.

Ship of Grandmaster

The "Orgy" birthday grenade is obviously not a warship, but still functioning as a normal space ship. If you look closely at the mother ship at the end of Thor: Ragnarok, we can see Grandmaster's grandmother's ship landing at the hull of her mother.

Remember the words of the Russo brothers? They did not say "rescue cocoon" but rather "rescue boat", so Thanos was able to kill half the people on board and leave half alive, then used the Grandmaster's ship to Evacuate the mother ship before it disintegrates. Actress Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie was seen in the studio in Edinburgh for Infinity and Avengers 4, so she will likely return in the latter part of the Valkyrie War. If so, the question of the fate of Asgard survivors would probably be answered by the film itself.

Avengers: Infinity War is currently playing in theaters across the country.
